Celebrating Our Farmington Hills Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!
Celebrating Our Farmington Hills Grand Opening!
On August 8th, we officially celebrated the Ribbon Cutting of our new Citizens State Bank Farmington Hills branch, and what a day it was!
We were honored to be joined by community leaders, chamber representatives, and friends who helped make this milestone possible.
Susan Arlin, CEO of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, welcomed CSB to the city, sharing her excitement about our expansion from our Royal Oak beginnings into Farmington Hills. She emphasized the value of bringing our full range of banking services to local residents and businesses, calling it “an outstanding investment in our community.”
Representing the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce, Sharkey Haddad praised CSB owner Chris Yatooma for his generosity and community-minded approach to business. He reminded us that strong relationships—built on trust and giving back—are at the heart of success.
From the City of Farmington Hills, Christia Brockway, Economic Development Director, expressed how thrilled the city is to welcome Citizens State Bank, encouraging local businesses and residents to connect with us for their financial needs.
Our own Dan Fischer, President/CEO, shared how community relationships have driven CSB’s growth, from our roots in Ontonagon in 1910 to this exciting new chapter in Farmington Hills. He thanked the City of Farmington Hills, Henry Yandt Construction, landlord Mark Kasaab, and the entire CSB team for making this branch a reality, remarkably, in just two and a half months. Dan also reaffirmed our commitment to investing in and supporting the Farmington Hills community for years to come.
The morning concluded with the big moment, cutting the ribbon and officially opening our doors!
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and to all who support Citizens State Bank. Our mission remains the same: to deliver personalized, community-focused banking that makes a real difference.
